Workshop: Introduction to University Teaching 2019 (Option 1)

This introductory workshop is designed for those who are new to teaching, or those teachers who are new to the University of Adelaide. It forms part of the mandatory requirements for all new staff to complete.

The focus of this workshop, which forms part of a larger module, is centred around student-centred learning environments, active learning, feedback, assessment and interactive presentation strategies (for small and large classes). It will also enable you to begin the development of your teaching philosophy through reflective practice.

There will be a short pre-workshop activity to complete a few days before the workshop which will be sent to you once you have completed your registration.

The workshop is open to all NEW academic staff, sessional staff and tutors.
